down for more on each topic) : Ghostwriting Everyone, it is said, has a book in them. What's yours about? You may not have the time to write it. You may not know where to start. I do. I can research and/or write it for you, quickly if necessary. The choice of subject is yours, as is the choice of style. It might be a 'how to' pocket book, or one for the coffee table. It might be on a specialist subject, for a mass market, illustrated or not. It might be about business, personal life, a society or an adventure, 20 pages or 1,000. It doesn't have to be about you, or even someone else. It could be about a company, a club or society, a charitable organisation, or an historic event. There is a market for virtually any book as long as it is interesting, topical and well-presented. I advise on all these aspects. Don't put it off because you're worried you can't do it right. With my help, you can. Cardinal Newman said "A man would do nothing if he waited until he could do it so well that no one could find fault with what he had done." Many people think it's cheating to use a ghostwriter. Nonsense. You take the compliments for your hairstyle, your house extension or the lines of your car, when you probably weren't the one that actually created them, don't you? Do you have a story to tell? Do you know someone else who does? Have you already started working on the idea? Perhaps you don't have the time. Perhaps you don't know where to start. I do. I can research and write it for you, quickly or over a long period. Or I can help you write it yourself. The choice of subject is yours, of course. It may be someone you know, or would like to know. There's no better way to get to know someone than to write about them. Contrary to what many people believe, the subject doesn't have to be dead, or even well-known. Many superb biographies have been written about people who have some extraordinary, but not necessarily famous, talent or background. There are many examples of people who have only become famous after their story has been published. There is a market for virtually any biography so long as it is interesting and well-presented. I won't steal your idea, but I can help you develop it. Funeral services It's a sad and difficult time when someone dies, and there is usually a huge amount to do. Sometimes the deceased has expressed the wish for a non-religious service, or relatives would like something to be said at a funeral, cremation or memorial service. A eulogy or oration can express, in a variety of ways, thoughts and feelings about the person who has departed - how they lived, what they did, what they wanted to do. It can include extracts from favourite books or poems; in fact, anything which reflects and celebrates their life. It can also be the basis for a permanent printed memorial to a loved-one. Such a text is not easy to write, or to say. That's where I can help. I can put together a sensitive and sincere text for a friend or relative of the deceased to say. It need not be sentimental or emotionally charged. I can even say it for you, if you wish. My sisters and I wrote the eulogies for our own parents' cremations, and it was because our words received such warm praise that I decided I would offer a similar service to other families.
